Uma Garimella has an engineering background and a PhD in Computer Science, and 27 years of experience in teaching, curriculum design and industry. She has worked with institutes of various kinds which have given her a deep understanding of the scene in professional education, especially Engineering. She was at the University of Hyderabad as a member of the faculty of Computer Science for 14 years, gaining insights into a teaching and research institute of top quality. She taught at School of IT- JNTU, I2IT-Pune and GNITS-Hyderabad and knows the working of both autonomous institutes and affiliated colleges. While heading the unique MSIT Program of the AP Govt (in IIIT, Hyderabad) for 3 years, she worked with contemporary learning methods using technology. With successful stints in DE Shaw India and Bodhtree Consulting at senior positions she knows the relationship between education and industry.
She recognised better teaching as one of the needs of the hourand taken up faculty development in colleges through her pedagogical training.
In addition to her training programs, she is a consultant at IIIT-Hyderabad's Centre for Education Technology and Learning Sciences and also heads the Centre for Faculty Development and Management at NMREC, Hyderabad. She holds the Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers(CIDTT). 
Dheeraj Sanghi Professor of CSE, IIT-Kanpur.
Dheeraj Sanghi - researcher in the area of computer networks with a BTech from IIT-Kanpur and MS, PhD from University of Maryland, he's currently Professor of CSE at IIT-Kanpur.
He has a wide range of administrative experience: Running the Institute Computer Center, Managing Graduate admissions, Cultural advisor to students, Student counselling, Managing all issues related to UG education in IIT Kanpur (as Chairman of Senate Under Graduate Committee), Design of CS curriculum for lots of colleges, Chairman of Health Center Users Committee, and so on.
He also worked for almost two years as Director of LNMIIT, a public-private partnership University in Jaipur. LNMIIT is a joint venture between Rajasthan Government and Lakshmi and Usha Mittal Foundation. 
KV Jayakumar Executive Director at Centre, WRDM
Prof Jayakumar obtained his B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering from the KREC, Surathkal (now NIT, Karnataka). Later he obtained his M.Tech degree specializing in Water Resources Engineering from the IIT, Kanpur from where he also obtained his Ph.D. degree. He had research and teaching experience at KREC Surathkal, Centre for Water Resources, Anna University, Chennai and IIT Kanpur. He has been with the Department of Civil Engineering at NIT Warangal since 1993, where he had various academic and administrative responsibilities.
He is a widely traveled academician, both within and outside the country and has guided 4 PhD theses, 50 MTech dissertations and a number of B.Tech projects at NIT Warangal. He has over 50 publications in international/national journals and conferences.

Dr V.M. Pandharipande currently professor and director, Centre for Excellence in Microwave Engineering, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, University College of Engineering, Osmania University, Hyderabad was appointed as the vice chancellor of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University.
Pandharipande obtained his Bachelor of Engineering (electrical and communication) from Viswesaraya Regional College of Engineering, Nagpur with distinction in 1970. He secured his M. Tech from IIT Kharagpur in 1972, and was later awarded Ph.D in microwave engineering by the same institution in 1980.
He is the recipient of the 'Best Teacher Award' of the Government of Andhra Pradesh, the Sir Visvesvaraya Award, the Anna University National Award and the Best Teacher Award of the Osmania University. 
V Venkata Raju Managing Director, VEM Technologies.
Mr. Raju is a visionary always dreams of India becoming a super power in Missile Technology. Mr. Raju hailed from an agricultural family from W.G. Dist., and did his Mechanical Engineering and Post Graduate Diploma in Tool Design from CITD.
Right from the school days, he was dreaming through his independent thoughts and always wished to become an entrepreneur. His father encouraged him and he joined in Hyderabad Connectors Ltd. to get a good feel of the industry. Three years later he started his own company called M/s VEM Components with a humble capital of one lakh rupees in a 10/10 room, in the year 1988.
He started manufacturing and supply of connectors and electronic products to strategic Defence industries such as BDL, ECIL etc. and further expanded his product area and propelled his company to become to VEM Technologies from VEM Components.
In pursuance of realizing his thrust of high end technologies in Aerospace & Defence, he started building up his team and infrastructure to produce Sub systems, Systems and System level integration for both On Board and Ground Support Systems for Aerospace & Defence applications. He received Defence Technology Absorption Award-2010 from Ministry of Defence for High-end Avionic Systems. His passion is always to create new and contribute to the technology development in the country.
Over a period of two eventful decades, he converted a proprietary company into a large scale industry and could provide direct employment for more than 600 people and secondary employment for many families.
Mr. Raju continues unstinted efforts towards the sustained growth of VEM Technologies, continues to dream of self reliance in Defence and Aerospace and wishes to see India excelling in these areas. Quality education is one of the avenues for this.

Maj Gen Dr R K Bagga Advisor, Outreach, IIIT-Hyderabad.
Dr Bagga has over 4 decades of service in Army( EME), including 20 years in Defence R&D Organisation, where he spearheaded Computer Activities in the Integrated Guided Missile Development Programme (IGMDP) . He is the recipient of Ati Vishisht Seva Medal (AVSM) for distinguished service of exceptional order in providing computing resources and for software development for the Missile Programme.
After retirement in 1997, he was CMC Chair Professor in Information Technology at Administrative Staff College of India up to 2004. He was responsible for launching innovative Management Development Programmes at ASCI in the area of ERP, e-Commerce, e-Governance, e-Security and Internet Technologies for practising Managers from India and Commonwealth Countries.
General Dr Bagga is at present Advisor Outreach Division at International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad. He is guiding number of Research Scholars for their Ph D in Osmania and JNT Universities. He has been involved in evaluating e-Governance intiatives, as part of CSI e-Governance Awards and has edited four book for Knowledge sharing among the stake holders

R.B. Lenin received the Ph.D. degree in Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India, in 1998. He is currently working as an assistant professor in the department of mathematics at the University of Central Arkansas (uca.edu), USA. Prior to joining UCA, he was working as a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR), USA. Earlier, he had also worked as a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Twente, The Netherlands, and at the University of Antwerp, Belgium for about 5 years. Though he has crossed 80 yrs, Prof Ratnalikar is an energetic and inspiring person, passionate about Total Quality Management (TQM) in Engineering Education. With B.Sc. B. E. (1952) M. Tech. (Civil) IIT (1972) Cert in Ed (UK), he has more than fifty years of experience under his belt in teaching.
He is a Life Member, Institution of Engineers (India), ISTE and AIAET and an active member of the Senior Citizens Organisation in Pune. He has published papers on structural Engineering and on Engineering Education in National and International Journals.
He is the Founder Editor and Editor of the "Journal of Engineering Education" since 1986, when it started publication. This journal recently published the 98th Quarterly Issue which is also the XII Special Issue on "Research in State Engineering Colleges- A Road Map".
He is the Founder President and President of Engineering Education Foundation, Pune, since 1996. The Foundation works for empowerment of the Faculty of Engineering Colleges as it believes that Faculty is the Change Agent for any changes in Engineering Education System.
