Through this initiative Teacher's Academy invites the bright graduating students for at least a 2-year short service commission as teachers in colleges. There will be a placement drive for this recruitment and the FC Fellows will be chosen after rigorous selection process to check commitment, subject knowledge, confidence and communication skills.
They will be then trained on modern teaching methods and deployed in colleges which subscribe for the project. A fellowship will be paid in addition to the salary paid by the college.
After two years, the FC Fellow can continue to teach or opt out of the project. On opting out, the placement of the FC Fellow will be facilitated by training or by Teacher's Academy network.
