Smruti Ranjan Sabat thanks his Biology teacher, Ms Surekha Patra, at DAV Public School:
Hi Ma'm, you may not remember me because I am one among the thousands you taught in your whole life... I am glad being one of them. Thanks for your contribution as a teacher and for that I am now happy in my life.. We love you and miss you a lot... Thank you very much.
Srinath Bheemaraju thanks Dr Ramakalyan Ayyagari who taught him at NIT, Trichy.
Namaste. While filling the blank fields in this thank you note, I felt like laughing out loud. It is because one field asks for the "title of course". You taught me optimal control systems and guided me in thesis. But I actually do not have words to thank you for the guidance and support given by you, when I was confused about the direction of my life. Your examples, anecdotes and thought provoking (but frank to the core) words helped me in understanding my real passions and interests. I do not know if being not able to go for PhD at that time was right or wrong , but now, I can confidently tell that I am enjoying my life doing what I want, at the same time earning my bread and butter.
On a lighter note, I have a proposal to you. Kindly let me know if you want to convey anything, math or control theory or science or music, to people through the medium of film. I will be ready, anytime.
Thanks for all. Thank you for what I am. Regards, Srinath
Mrinal Gour thanks her Dad Taj Gour: Thankyou dad!
S K Singh thanks his teacher, Prof Kunal Gaurav who taught him Brand Management during 2006:
He is one of the most influencing teachers I have ever met. I still remember the concepts what he taught me five years back. He teaches the class using a mix of teaching pedagogies viz. Case Discussion, Role Plays, Management Games & Lecturing. He is a wonderful orator and a great mentor; and always cares for students. The ways he creates & narrates stories in context marketing context makes learning interesting. He is always available for his students in 24X7 format to help them grow in their life. He is a teacher in the true sense. My best wishes are always with him.

Janardhan Korremulla, an avid photographer, thanks his teacher Brother Dhruv Raj at All Saints HS, Hyderabad
I owe a lot of my success to My school teacher Mr Dhruv Raj from All Saints High School... but for him I would never have had hobbies taken so seriously. He groomed me to pursue hobbies. If I'm a successful Photographer, a part of my determination, I owe to him. One more interesting and a very inspiring aspect of his is...He is one of the very few teachers in the country, you will be surprised to know that HE NEVER AVAILED ANY LEAVE IN 25YEARS. HE ATTENDED/REPORTED SCHOOL, COME WHAT MAY HE WAS ON TIME AND WITHOUT A SINGLE CASUAL OR SICK FOR 25 LONG YEARS... I'm a witness to very many years of that 25...
